YABOT Academy is conducting RAINBOT – Automatic Rain Shelter on 10th October 2026, where young learners aged 8–15 will build a smart shelter that automatically responds to rain using Arduino, a rain sensor, and a servo motor.
📅 Date: 10th October 2026
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
📍 Venue: YABOT Academy, Vazhuthacaud, Thiruvananthapuram
👦 Age Group: 8–15 years
💰 Workshop Fee: ₹1499
🔧 Components: All components included
Through this hands-on workshop, students will explore how rain sensors detect water and how a servo motor can automatically open or close a shelter. They will gain practical experience with Arduino programming, electronics, and creative problem-solving.
Register now and secure your seat! Registration closes on 9th October 2026 at 6:00 PM.
Get ready for our upcoming Makers Lab project – the Moon Light Model! This exciting project combines creativity and basic electronics to create a beautiful glowing moon using an LED, resistor, battery, and simple craft materials.
Through this hands-on activity, students will explore the fundamentals of electrical circuits while developing their creativity, problem-solving abilities, and practical skills.
Young makers will discover how simple electronic components work together to create a glowing model. This activity encourages imagination, experimentation, and learning by doing.
Stay tuned as we turn a simple idea into a glowing creation at Makers Lab!
