Last week, YABOT Academy successfully conducted the Build • Code • Play – Arduino Game Workshop simultaneously at our Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam centres.
Young participants explored Arduino programming and electronics while building their own interactive games using an LCD display and joystick. Through hands-on activities, they learned about game logic, coding, controls, and basic electronics in a fun and engaging way.
The workshop encouraged creativity, logical thinking, problem-solving, and experimentation, giving students the opportunity to turn simple components into exciting playable creations.
Last week’s Makers Lab session introduced our young innovators to the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence through a PictoBlox Facial Expression & Emotion Recognizer project.
Students explored how AI can work with camera inputs to detect and recognize different facial expressions. They learned the basics of AI features, image recognition, and block-based coding while building and testing their own interactive project.
The hands-on session encouraged curiosity, creativity, and logical thinking while giving students a fun introduction to the possibilities of AI and computer vision.
