Tomorrow, 8 August 2026, YABOT Academy is excited to conduct the Build • Code • Play – Arduino Game Workshop simultaneously at both our Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam centres!
Young participants will explore the basics of Arduino programming and electronics while creating their own exciting game using an LCD display and joystick. Through this hands-on activity, they will learn about game logic, controls, coding, and interactive electronics.
Designed for beginners aged 8–15, the workshop offers a fun and engaging way to discover how simple electronic components can be transformed into a playable game.
Last week’s Makers Lab session took young game developers deeper into Microsoft MakeCode Arcade as they created their own exciting Maze Game.
Students designed challenging mazes, controlled their characters through different paths, navigated around walls, and reached the goal using simple block-based coding.
The session helped them strengthen their logical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and game development skills while having fun bringing their own maze games to life!
