5 BASIC SENSOR WORKSHOP – HAPPENING THIS WEEKEND!

This weekend, Yabot Academy is hosting an exciting 5 Basic Sensor Workshop on 14 March 2026 for students aged 8–15 years. Participants will get hands-on experience with Ultrasonic, IR, PIR, LDR, and Temperature sensors, learning how these sensors work and how they are used in real-world robotics and smart systems.
Through interactive experiments and simple coding concepts, students will explore how technology can detect distance, motion, light, and temperature — making this workshop a perfect introduction to electronics and innovation.
An exciting weekend of learning, building, and discovery awaits our young innovators!
MAKERS LAB HIGHLIGHTS
In last week’s Makers Lab session, our beginner students successfully built a Forward Reverse Switch System.
Through this project, young makers learned how a simple switch can change the circuit path and control the direction of current, making different LEDs glow in different ways.It was a great hands-on experience that helped students understand basic circuit logic while building their confidence in electronics.
Another exciting step in their journey of learning, building, and innovation!
